“A very nice place to relax and just be. Run by very nice people who were always helpful and friendly. Great pizzas on offer were a real bonus, as we're firepits and wood being available. Will most likely be back in future. ”

“When we arrived a notice said we could order logs for the hot tub but on contacting the person he was away until the following week so a bit disappointing Also it stated shampoo body wash etc would be available but we had nothing The overall experience was brilliant just a couple of little tweaks needed ”

“Nice place with very considerate hosts. One morning we mentioned to Arthur that the frying pan was warped and a bit difficult to cook with, and when we returned that evening a bag with a new pan was hanging on the door. Arthur also made some good recommendations for visiting local attractions. Enjoyable stay.”

“We had a wonderful time at Bank Cottage. Well equipped and lovely and clean. The garden was excellent for our dog. The decking area was fab. Only thing to consider lots of steps so not good for people with mobility issues. We will definitely be back. Wine was a nice welcome x”

“Booked last minute and wow. Bigger than I imagined from the online photos. Stunning place if you fancy a remote stay, yet Abergavenny is only 8 mins drive away. Everything was so clean and tidy, well equipped and good internet! Took a walk up to the white castle which can be seen from the barn. Spent most of the weekend bird watching. ”

“ Beautiful cottage set in stunning surroundings.Very cozy and has everything you need for yourself and your dog.Lovely enclosed garden and fabulous views overlooking the river and forest,there are benches to sit on outside the property and also in the shared garden area to the front with picnic tables.The bed in the main bedroom is so comfy we didnt want to get out of it. Lovely cozy cottage with a log burner. Dog friendly pubs and restaurants on both sides of the river which you can get to via……

“No email/text or phone call to communicate the stay was cancelled. Messages on the app that i didnt know i needed.Travelled almost 2 hours in poor weather conditions with a toddler, to phone the place and the ‘office be closed’. Phoned help line which is in india who just kept telling me to wait 1 hour. 3 times!!! ”
