“This is a great get a way spot that is tucked into a peaceful and scenic location. There’s a little creek that runs by within a short walking distance. We really enjoyed the stay. The only reason I only gave 4 stars on the check in was that it wasn’t ready when we got there due to the previous occupants not leaving when they were supposed to and that we didn’t know which one we were supposed to go to. “We rented this cabin to participate in the Colon Cancer Riding for a Reason side-by-side trailhead event at Bass River Resort, and despite the distance to/from the resort, we had a blast driving the backroads and exploring Steelville.This cabin has all of the comforts of home and was very relaxing at the end of the day, after bouncing around in the side-by-side all day.
