This rural holiday home is located on the outskirts of the village of Wesepe. You will immediately feel at home in the attractive and modern house. The house lends itself well to a stay for two or more people. Reading, writing, cooking, photographing, and making music are possible here. If you have children, they can play in a large separate part of the garden. And in the evening, of course, the barbecue is on! The perfect place to enjoy freedom, space, and peace
On the river IJssel lies the small villages of Olst and Wijhe; coziness and a small scale mark these places. Meadows, forests, and country estates surround the town of Wesepe. The surroundings are perfect for walks and cycle rides through the beautiful countryside.
Natuurmonumenten's info center in Den Nul is in a beautiful walking area. You can take lovely walks along the IJssel River here. The center organizes all kinds of activities or lectures about the history of this area every month. You can find these activities on the website infocentrumijssel.nl.
Ornithologists have plenty to look forward to. A good brasserie is available for after the walk.
Located between Deventer and Zwolle, Huis te Lande is also a perfect base for a visit to either of these cities. Go shopping for a day in Zwolle or visit the Fundatie, a fine art museum in a beautiful and striking building. Explore the streets and narrow alleys of the historic center of Deventer, one of the Netherlands's oldest (Hanseatic) cities. Deventer is only 10 kilometres from Wesepe. But the Hanseatic city of Zutphen is also worth a visit.
If you want something for the children, indoor play paradise Balorig (Wijhe) or adventure park Hellendoorn are highly recommended. Colmschate in Deventer also has a lovely swimming pool.
Do you love antiques or fine art? Then the Sculpture Garden in Mariënheem is also definitely worth a visit.
