“Location! Location! Location! A very welcoming and safe accommodations. As two women traveling, this was very important that we felt safe and comfortable. Having our bedroom windows opened allowed us to hear the sound of a nearby brook and owls thru the night. Mike, the host was amazing and went over and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I included a pic of a sunset taken from the porch. We plan to return. Thanks Mike!”

“We had a great time at this property and very convenient to town and close to other towns to visit . We had to cut our time short but I am sure if were ever go back to Sylva NC this would be a place I would rent again. Everyone was very friendly.”

“We booked for a last minute trip over Memorial Day Weekend and we are so glad we found Amy’s place!!!! The Nomad was cute, clean, and easy to access. Breakfast was delicious, and the cookies at night were such a sweet touch. Amy was very sweet and knowledgeable about the area, and gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We couldn’t have been happier!”

“Loved the location, ease of check-in, and friendly communication. Ideal for those looking to visit the Deep Creek area of the Smoky Mountains and the NOC. “It was so much fun to stay in a container home! The layout was great and we had good space for 2 people. Luckily the weather allowed for sitting outside since there is nowhere to sit inside. We enjoyed it and would definitely come back again!”

“This is a great property for a family gathering. We had 13 people, ages 20-84, for an 80th birthday celebration and The Holler couldn't have been a better place for us. It is clean, has comfortable beds and great gathering places: outside, the pool table, are the living room/seating area. The décor is also well done! Real cute, welcoming place.”

“Wonderfully light, clean, and comfortable place to stay while we worked in the area. Peaceful view over the golf course. Yes the road is single-lane, but we never encountered another vehicle the entire week of coming and going. Carly is a great host, and we hope there is availability when we work up there next year!”

“Host Jenny had great communication before, during, and after our stay. Cabin is well appointed and comfortable. It was just 2 of us, but it would be a good option for a small family with the additional loft sleeping area. It's fairly remote, but right above the lake if you're into water activities. Make sure you download/write down all important info (directions, phone numbers, door code) before you arrive, as there is no cell service. Wifi worked well on property once we got inside and……

“Though our visit was short, the property was absolutely perfect! The furniture was comfortable, the bed slept well, the showers were great, and the communication was immediate and accommodating. Definitely recommend 10 out of 10. The driveway was fairly steep which was a little intimidating since we got there after dark but my car made it up with no problems. Will definitely consider booking again next time I'm in the area”
