“The house and property were beautiful. The perfect winter Vermont weekend getaway we were looking for. Sledding for the kids and wood stove to keep cozy by. A couple of issues we had were two smoke detectors chirping low battery as soon as we arrived, and while the house did seem clean, there was evidence of rodent nesting in the kitchen. Vacasa quickly offered to come out. I recommend that VRBO indicate 4WD required in winter. This was not indicated on the VRBO website and we didn't see……

“Close to Jay Peak & restaurants on Newport’s Main St but laid out awkwardly. Bathroom is huge but living room is cramped. I was a little worried that we would be cold since it didn’t look well insulated, but the heat was good & strong & it didn’t take long to warm up. Owner likes fish & angels, which dominate the decor. ”

“My children wanted some snow and to sled ride. This home is absolutely beautiful. The views are incredible and pictures don’t do it justice. We loved it. ”

“The place is right in town within eyeshot of the trailhead, and a stone’s throw from the Tiki Bar (a landmark for cyclists). Interior is excellent, fully updated and great for a group (6 beds, large kitchen, big dining table and comfortable living room). Has a lockable bike shed too. We stayed for three days (rode for 2 and skied for 1). Had an amazing time, will be back!”

“The house was just perfect, in a perfect location with a beautiful scenery. Nicole (host) was always on top of everything and readily available to help. We had a small issue with the heater but the owner reacted even before we noticed and resolved the issue in less than 30 minutes.”

“This was an excellent ski weekend visit for us. Greg was amazing, calling the morning of to let us know about GPS bearings, etc. The house itself is just perfect. Completely isolated and quiet, exactly what we came to VT for. It had to have been the most well appointed kitchen we have ever seen, so much so we ended up cooking 2 out of the 3 nights (restaurants are pretty far away so good to plan for that ahead.) Beds were super comfy and bathroom/shower was awesome. We happened to have been……

“This was our second stay at the cabin and it was just as good as the first visit. Saralyn and Adam have made some great improvements including upgrading the internet and adding a swing bench just off the deck. The surrounding area is beautiful both in NH and VT but the property is so nice on its own that we were happy just spending time in the evening down by the brook with a fire going. The inside is very well equipped with pretty much everything you could need. Very cozy when it's cooler……
