“We have stayed here several times over the years. It’s low budget but the cleanliness, quiet (which is amazing since it’s right by the railroad and highway), breakfast offerings and friendly staff make it nicer than many pricier places I have stayed in. I always feel safe, too. Looking at it from the outside I would not necessarily understand how nice it is for a decent sleep during a road trip. Glad we found it. ”

“Loved the Kirkwood Inn! Staff very helpful and friendly. Room and beds very clean and comfortable. Morning breakfast was outstanding and delicious. Nice selection of pastries, fruit and the hot breakfast consisted of eggs, sausage, pancakes. Coffee, juice etc. was available too. Located in Mason it was easy to get to Kings Island as well as Lebanon and the Golden Lamb. Great stay for the money!!! ”

“My family and I had a change in plans so were unable to stay at what I’m certain would have been a wonderful motel. Nonetheless the staff were so courteous, understanding and kind despite our frequently changing plans and other priorities in their own lives. I would stay there just on principle ! “Considering it's a low budget motel, it's pretty good. Holes in the comforter and sheets had some tears, but seriously, when I say low budget motel, that's what this is, drug dealers and all. In terms of the Ritz? 1 star. In terms of low budget motels, the only reason it's not 5 stars is because they had a sign posted stating that they charged $30/night for service dogs which is illegal. Meh. Two chicks, one night, we were safe and so was our car. We slept well. We left the next day no worse for……
