“Was a lovely place to stay, had everything you need, great location looking out at the sea, would definitely like to return.”

“Location was hard to find, had to ask someone in a local shop. It is not accessible and up cobbled steps. We had two dogs and a 6 month old in a pram so that was difficult to navigate. The yard space was okay to let the dogs out and there is a gate but it was always being left open by others so if you have dogs who like to run off, this is not good. The property itself - it did the job. It was somewhere to sleep however not somewhere I think would be comfortable to stay in all day or for……

“As is normally the case the photos don’t quite reflect the property’s condition. We would like to give a balanced review and fundamentally the property is in a great location, even though no parking but can be found in adjacent streets with permit provided. The property isn’t suitable for a family due to size. Overwhelmingly the damp which is evident in many places is an issue, as is the loose and degrading paint and loose and degrading skirting and quadrant. Fridge wasn’t clean, the appliances……

“Beautiful house, perfect for our family of seven and the dog! The house was spotless, everything you would want to enjoy your stay. Photos do not do it justice, it was gorgeous!! Perfect location, walking distance to everything in Whitby. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for an amazing weekend!!”

“We really enjoyed our stay, and it is certainly a very attractive five star flat in terms of decor, facilities, views, location, nearby parking (often problematic in Whitby) etc - but it was let down by a rather unpleasant drain smell in the bedroom with the en suite, which we couldn’t get rid of. Everything there looked spotless but didn’t smell good. Also slight anxiety due to the check in process, because we were told full details of accessing the flat would be sent 6 hours prior to check……
