“After a strange (as in no prior details emailed to us) solitary check-in we acclimatised quickly to the comfortable, well equipped and clean property. Our misgivings about the curious land around the house were soon dismissed. The wet, windy and stormy weather did not help. But it was winter after all. The long desolate driveway and the old homewares around the nearby garage were a bit disconcerting. All in all we were comfortable and well located to the main town and its off-season services.……

“Aloft was like a home away from home. It has many amenities that made our stay so comfortable. The owner Annie kindly provided us with instructions to get there. We love the ability to have a washing machine and dryer. Even a dishwasher was there but we didn't use.”

“The property was clean and fresh The native wildlife around the property was beautiful to see and watch. Plenty of walking trails to explore in the Rocky Cape national park. Its such a beautiful part of the world to relax and unwind and take in the gorgeous landscape and surrounds. Also the local store called Little Sisters General Store is a must see especially when they have entertainment playing. A great welcoming community.”

“The cottage is perfectly located in from of the lake, from the room balcony, I can easily see the wild animals around. Room is perfectly furnished and clean. I wish I could have a chance to try the fine dining but it was fully occupied by Group tour. I would suggest the hotel reserve certain tables for other hotel guests. “we stayed in an upstairs terrace room. it was comfortable but definitely old and needing a refresh. It looks as though NRMA owns half the town so maybe they don't have to try too hard given the limited accommodation on offer. overall, am an enjoyable 2 night stay. ”
