Numerous art galleries dot downtown including RT Morgan, Lenore Depree and many more.

Spend the day hiking Mount Jefferson (only a five-minute drive) or head to the Blue Ridge Parkway just a short ten-minute drive away. If you wish to ski, head to Appalachian Ski Mountain (35-minute drive), Beech Mountain (1 hour and 10 minutes) or Sugar Mountain (1 hour).
