“The Historic Powhatan Hilton Vacation Club was an excellent part of our family vacation. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The property was beautiful and well maintained. They had a nice variety of family-friendly games and activities. The only issue we had was that because we were there in the spring before the outdoor pools had opened, the only indoor swimming pool was always busy and was frequently filled to capacity. It would be nice if they had 2 indoor pools for so many units.……

“Our family of 5 loved this place! It had something for each of us to enjoy - pool, bar and restaurant, movie theater, mini golf, an arcade, outdoor games. The suite we were in was spacious with everything we could need, and it was reasonably priced, which attracted me to it. We shortened an amusement park day so we could enjoy all the activities for an evening at the hotel. ”

“We truly enjoyed our stay at this location. It was perfect distance to our activities, and had a variety of things to do at the resort that were wonderful for the evenings when our days ended. Pool was loud but fun, the arcade was a huge hit, and while the mini golf course was closed, they made up for it by allowing us to use a sister resort extremely close by, which was wonderful. We would absolutely stay here again.A couple of complaints. I wish check in didn't absolutely require talking with……

“The location was fantastic for our stay. The place was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very sparse, but the necessities were available. The king bed did not have a fitted bottom sheet; just a flat sheet that was too small and tucked in. The washing machine did not drain properly. It took a long time for the water in the showers to warm up. The front desk made it seem like a sales meeting was required, even after I declined twice. But the apartment was very nice. “The first room we got checked into had fleas, but we contacted the front desk and they were able to put us into another newly renovated unit which was much nicer, had a better view and was very clean. “I found the unit I rented to be very comfortable and in excellent condition. Infortunately Colonial Williamsburg has really diminished it's commitment to being a "living" museum experience.
