“Had a nice stay for a long weekend. Talked story with the owners and got some suggestions on where to go. Most of the time we were really busy bc of a volleyball tournament. Having the a/c in one of the bedrooms was very much needed as it was hot and muggy. Ceiling fans helped a lot too. The owner’s dog came to visit a few times while we stayed. He knows how to open the door if left ajar lol. Very friendly dog. Owners respond well to text. They live right behind the rental. No need to buy……

“We stayed for 10 days at the Woodrose plantation near Moloaa Bay. Our family had an excellent time enjoying Kauai, especially our stay in this secluded quiet location surrounded by fruit trees. We loved the short walk to the beach which we did several times each day. The bay is also secluded and peaceful and offered opportunities for swimming and snorkeling, protected from too many waves. “Everything was perfect! This was exactly what I envisioned for our family vacation. The house was clean and stocked with all the essential needs. We enjoyed all of the amenities including the hot tub, firepit, soaking tub, ping pong table, kayak, etc. We cooked many meals in the amazing kitchen and appreciated the outside lanai with the string lights. Lisa was an exceptional host—welcoming, responsive, and full of great local tips. She gave us helpful suggestions on places to explore and even recommended a beach that became one of our favorites. “We stayed with our adult children and their partners for just over a week and it was a great place for the six of us. Kitchen was well outfitted with all you need for cooking including a blender and even a rice cooker, though strangely no microwave. Plenty of beach towels and a washer and dryer too.
