“My Dad and I booked a once in a life time trip to India, once we arrived at the apartment at 1am there was no one there to check us in. Before travelling I was advised to contact the care taker who would let us in, i called and called (as well as reception) and no one answered Leading to us having to check in to an alternative hotel for the night. I am still fighting for a refund for the first night... I wouldnt call the apartments serviced, as it would only 'serviced' the first two days out of……

“The owner locked the door of the rented space from the outside. They had no access into or out of the space. He extorted additional money while they were there. The owner shared a bathroom with the renters. The place was filthy, there was no clean drinking water. There was limited access to food and no place to store purchased food. The owner attempted to control their choices and became upset if they disagreed with him.”
