“Was stationed at the air force base 40 years ago. Never knew Echo Lake existed. Finding this cabin, on a lake, across from Aroostook State Park was amazing. Even the neighbor was so friendly. It was just the two of us this time. Would love to bring family back to this property as it could house all of us. Fall colors were just kicking in. No eagle sighting in the nest, maybe next time. Special place to stay and location was perfect to return to at the end of each days activities.”

“It smelled musty. The fridge was a tiny dorm size. Limited pans for cooking. No dish cloths or towels for dishes. The bed was very uncomfortable. The towel racks in the bath were falling out of the wall. The room was clean.”

This was one of the best vacation decisions of our life, we thought we may have to hike a bit, but we were so pleased we could see it right from the deck of the cabin. The land is big and spacious, you don't see any neighbors. The cabin is tucked into the back of the parcel at the end of a lovely field and woods trail. It was so cozy, private and QUIET.
