“perfect weekend”

“This cottage was perfect for my husband and I. We loved relaxing on the deck and the dock, enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife (with daily visits from deer and herons) and chilling on the couch watching TV once it was too chilly to sit outside any longer. We did not use the game room but it looked like it would be perfect for a family with kids. We rented a pontoon boat one day and had no problems pulling up to the dock. “Very kid friendly and comfortable. A steep walk down to the lake, but the walkway was well maintained. Fire pit was great. We really enjoyed our stay. Amazingly large wrap around covered porch with lots of seating.”

“Check-in was super easy. The houses had everything we needed and they were clean. Kitchen was fully stocked and most everything was labeled and easy to find. Would definitely stay here again! ”

“This is a brand new house set-up for family gatherings. The basement has its own tv and pool table for the late night crowd. Upstairs has the same tv setup w nice kitchen table and good kitchen for group cooking. Upstairs bedrooms are both nice. All bedrooms have walkin showers. The stairs getting to the lake are steep so care is needed there. Overall a grwat place for us.”

“This stay was nothing short of perfect, in large part due to Melba and her family were incredible hosts. My husband and I drove up from TN for a family reunion, and loved having a place to stay all to ourselves. The location was great--only about 20 minutes to where we needed to go in any direction. Melba even gave us permission to go look at their new baby goats, which absolutely made my day. I cannot wait to come back! I will mention that it does get bright as the sun rises, and the best is……

“This place is better than advertised. Great location, clean, well maintained and very well located on Smith Mountain Lake. A!”

“WOW! This place is INCREDIBLE! I mean, next level great! They had new furniture, TWO fire pits, a blackstone AND kayaks! The host was incredible and very responsive to any message sent and actually cared. It was me and my husbands 5 years anniversary and the host continued to remember and congratulate us during all conversations had. This place really is magical and off the grid with GREAT WiFi for the area. There is a community dock just down the road where the fishing was awesome! We will……
