“I stayed with my spouse and two children (ages 5 and 9). We felt very safe. The rental was very private and separate from the main house. The bedrooms and two bathrooms were very convenient. Check-in was super easy and directions were clear. Lots of things were provided to make the stay very easy and convenient.Two points of inconvenience: 1) the downstairs bathtub only gets warm water. It was fine for bathing children but not warm enough to use myself. 2) We struggled with connecting to the……

“Our stay at the West River Lodge was great! The cabin is very cozy, nicely decorated and equipped with everything we needed. We cooked dinner one of the nights we were there and all we had to bring was the food…the kitchen was fully stocked with pans, dishes and flatware…even a vegetable peeler and can opener! We would definitely recommend staying here.”

“Everything was very nice with this property! Looked nice and felt comfortable with enough seating for all 9 of us at the dinning room table. It's in a quaint little town with a local shop with breakfast that was a minute away, and a 3 min walk to the river. Hit up a few lakes and other fun activities and most things were a 15-30 minute drive. The only negative was we noticed few mice but I think that's par for the course in VT.”

“We wish we could have stayed longer. This cottage is built into a slope. It is very picturesque and the surroundings are beautiful! Wifi is provided but is spotty anywhere in this part of Vermont. We didn't come for the big screen tv and it wasn't cold enough for the pellet stove, but they are there. The kitchen table seats six and there are stools for two more at the counter in the galley kitchen. I really liked the pretty willow pattern dishes and the lighting on the stairs to the third……

“On a farm in the country…..stars blazing at night for hot tub. Cozy loft had amazing mattress and pillows! Our dog enjoyed the surrounding field. Beautiful! ”
