“This is a beautiful property in a wonderful location at about 9400' above sea level. The cabin is extremely well stocked with everything needed. Lots of bedding, towels, kitchen utensils, chargers, firewood, games. We brought our new dog and were thrilled with the large, fenced, grassy yard area connected to the back porch, where she could safely be let out. The WiFi and TVs worked great. The owners, Tammy and Phillip, were very friendly and quickly responded to any questions or issues, but……

“We stayed in the Bootlegger cabin, which was somewhat detached and nicely secluded from the other cabins. The place was immaculate, and had all of your household needs- everything was in top shape and perfect working order. The area around the unit was genuinely perfect. The only thing here that needs to be made clear to other visitors is that there is a highway nearby. When it’s quiet, it’s very quiet, but at the busier points in the day it can be a little noisy. I would definitely come back-……

“The Bunk House is very quaint and peaceful…just what we wanted. It has everything we needed. It’s not far from town. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. There’s a little path that you can walk down to the river too. Highly recommend staying at the Bunk House if you are in Cañon City. Loved chatting with Shari, she is so sweet.”
