“Overall, stay was very good. One small thing that wasn’t clear was the mooring for the boat. It was not directly in front of the dock at all I thought I might have to use one of the neighbors if it was necessary. Fortunately, it did not become necessary because the folks that stayed on the property right on the water did not have a boat The only other thing I think is worth mentioning for people who have Boats is that your water inlet is directly in front of the dock and may be an obstruction……

“Vacasa properties in this area are INCREDIBLY DIRTY. I am allergic to mold and dust and had to be treated due to how GROSS their properties are, mind you I am an otherwise healthy 20-something year old. They also leave moldy food in their appliances so hope you don’t want toast. There were rats, likely attracted by the food bits left in EVERY SINGLE PAN/POTDO JOT STAY HERE. Even if they say cleaners will come “again” (they clearly never came once) they are LIARS ”

“Close to Sugarbush and Mad River. 10min to Waitsfield, 30min to Waterbury. The road in can be difficult in mud season - very deep mud in some parts of the road. Really nice to be able to look out the back door at the trees, birds, and squirrels though! ”

“The property was much larger in person than it appears in the pictures. The views over the falls were amazing. The bed was remarkably comfortable. Everything was clean and newly updated. Absolutely love being able to walk everywhere and simply cross the street for a lovely meal and coffee. ”

“This was the second time we stayed at this cozy carriage house and again we were so pleased with everything. It is very clean, comfortable and has everything to make your stay absolutely perfect. It is also close to town which is very convenient. Jennifer is an excellent host! I can’t say enough positive things about this place! ”

“The property was clean, quiet and had plenty of room. It was conveniently located in the Mad River Valley. As with all rentals it did have some quirks. 2 washcloths for 5 people, 3 chairs (we found a 4th in a closet). The stove was the biggest problem. The oven temperature plate was broken so you had no idea what the temp was and the large stovetop element had issues. A pan of hamburgers almost slid off. We would still come back. I normally bring extra washcloths because the last thing we want……

“Lovely property; lots of room for dogs to run if you want them off leash. House had minimal but adequate kitchen and bath accommodations. No shower which I wish I'd known beforehand. Soaking tub was delightful but not easy to wash hair. Kyle was onsight to help as needed. The view is unparalleled!”

“The maple castle was awesome! Definitely the most unique house I have ever stayed in. You can sit in the hot tub and watch the river or you can walk down a tiny hill to tie up a tube and float in it. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend. ”
