“Great location. Good size property for what we needed. Sad to say it was not very clean, lots of dust and cobwebs everywhere. Mould on the windows . It needs a full refurbishment as there were mismatch furniture, walls need decorating. Old screw holes in places. Old tatty tea towels with holes in and bleach marks on them. Not expensive to supply . ”

“The Old Chapel is a thoughtfully and attractive converted building. It is well equipped, and we enjoyed the social space in the kitchen/diner. The road in front of the downstairs bedrooms was busier than expected during rush hours, and the village amenities were more spread out than we anticipated. We enjoyed the Island Garden Center and coffee shop across the road for a breakfast and lunch. The off-street parking was awkward for an SUV type vehicle but would be alright for a smaller car. “This is the third time I've been to the Hide and it never fails to impress. The hosts are wonderful, the location is perfect for trips out, and the Hide, itself, is perfect for a quiet retreat. We tried the vineyard tour and tasting which we thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend. Thanks to Karen and Simon. We'd come back tomorrow if we could!”

“This is a beautiful house, well equipped and was really suitable for our holiday with three generations of family. The pool was a big hit with the children in particular and the adults enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and steam room. The beach at Weymouth together with all of the attractions are within easy reach. This was a very enjoyable week.”
