“We were living in the room close to the main road. It could be quite haunting during the night and I was almost sleepless during the first night. And I have to leave all the lights on to make it looks like people are awake. I tried to use the hot bath but the room is locked all the time. Hotels.com is definitely responsible to manifest a 10 out 10 rating in this hotel, it’s simply not that good! Strongly won’t suggest ladies and kids to stay alone. ”

“This was an fantastic option for our family with school aged children. The setting was quiet. We enjoyed star gazing while sitting in the he outdoor bath, the cosy fireplace, well appointed kitchen bathroom were excellent. The boardgame selection was excellent.We wished we'd stayed longer ”

“It was a comfortable, sunny and warm. We didn’t need the fire but there was plenty of wood for colder times. Spacious kitchen and the recent refurbishment has been tastefully done. ”

“We loved our stay here and would have stayed longer. The house is beautifully laid out with the living areas upstairs (beautiful views!) and the sleeping downstairs. The kitchen is quite well appointed and has an excellent oven and stove. It's a little drive to anywhere but we had a rental car so that was no issue, only 15 mins to Tongariro visitors centre. ”

“new, tidy house in a good location, with good views. Enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the hot pool, it didn't look clean at all so we haven't used it. Otherwise, it was a great stay”
