“A great time in Te Anau! In a quiet suburb within 5 minutes walking distance of Te Anau proper; restaurants, shops, the lake, the Real NZ visitor center and other activity providers. Small but clean with comfortable beds and a good heating unit (bathroom too) and fireplace, great for our 5 adult group in early spring. Kitchen got the job done the couple of dinners and breakfasts we cooked. Thanks for having us!”

“This was a great spot for our time in Te Anau. We used it as home base to explore the region (hiking, Milford Sound, etc.). Location is hard to beat - very close to the lakeshore, business district, city park, Fiordland DOC Visitor Center and multiple very good restaurants (Ditto, Redcliff, Miles Better Pies). We cooked meals multiple times and the kitchen and pantry were well stocked. Beds were comfortable but not posh. If you are looking for a luxury location, this isn't it. It was……
