“The cottage is warm, clean and homely. A nice spot for a family. The kitchen was well-equipped, even including tupperware containers for leftovers (rarely seen in holiday houses!) but no dishwashers. The bathrooms were clean but a bit tired and one cistern needed a bang to stop it from running after flushing. Once mastered it was fine. ”

“We loved the location of this cozy cottage in Manapouri. We were able to walk into the village easily and grab dinner and it was a short drive to Te Anau. The owners provided great information about the local area and hikes and had lots of great books about the area. We definitely felt like a local staying here and it was a perfect getaway spot. (We especially loved listening to the melodic birds while sitting on the patio.) ”

“Our first ever tiny home stay was great. All the comforts of a full size home shrunk down to tiny. The view of the lake was amazing. The only negative we had was the last night we got zero sleep due to very hight winds that shook the lovely tiny home all night.”

“This place is very minimalist. It had enough room for all of us with 3 bedrooms and a sleep out. The sleep out was half the garage and had an ensuite. It was sufficient but small. Not really enough plates for the amount of people that can stay. The glasses were in need of a bit of cleaning as well. It needs a little attention. ”

“Great little property, with excellent facilities. As we were a group of 4 retirees we did miss a dining table and chairs as we prefer to cook ourselves and play cards at night, but otherwise very comfortable and excellent assistance when we had trouble with a can opener ”

“We really enjoyed our stay here but the layout is definitely different. It is not for people with mobility issues but otherwise it is great. The are multiple places inside and out to enjoy the view and it is pretty spectacular. We loved sitting in the sunroom and enjoying the view of the hills and the river. If you are doing a cruise from Manipouri dock, such as the Doubtful Sound tour you literally can not stay anyplace closer. It is a 3 minute walk to the pier. I will remember our stay for a……
