“The host was wonderful and very accommodating, loved the lake life vibe throughout the house! We utilized the hot tub which is very relaxing after dancing the night away at a wedding, wish we could’ve stayed longer. ”

“I would strongly suggest you avoid this property. Unit was unsanitary and in disrepair. Filtered water from refrigerator was yellow. Tap water smelled strongly of sewage. Dishes and bathroom in dirty condition. A know leak came from the kitchen sink drain -- obviously an aware issue since a pot was placed beneath it. A curtain rod fell from the wall which nearly struck out sleeping infant. Never received any return communication from the property manager. Lot was incredibly overgrown.”

“Our experience at this lovely place was just what our family needed! Everything was exactly as described - maybe better! The home was spotless and beautifully decorated. The location was ideal - peaceful and quiet, with a lovely patio and pier all our own. We kayaked, went paddle boarding and biking. We played lots of cornhole and had dinner at the Woodshed Tap on Bass Lake - rustic, but the food was great! We've stayed in many vacation rentals, and this one stands out for its attention to……

“Great house - clean, close to everything in Valparaiso, matched the photos, great backyard, everything that was promised. Check-in was easy, as was check-out. Great stay!”

“The area was super quiet and pitch black at night. The tent was cute and perfect size. We however did not end up staying. It was super smokey, when I opened the stove to add wood even more smoke poured from it. Being from eastern Kentucky those are what we had and they shouldn't do that, so I'm thinking the pipe was getting clogged. If not for that it would have been super cozy.”
