The location was fantastic—just a short distance from the lakes, which made it easy to explore and enjoy the outdoors. “Such a cozy cabin and some amazing trails right behind for exploring by yourself or with dogs. Loved the open floor plan and the loft area, much bigger than anticipated. Had an amazing stay and look forward to renting it again. 10/10 recommend in the winter, can only imagine how it is in the summer.”

“On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. Wish we knew that. On the up side:……

“We stayed 6 days, my wife, daughter and friend, and our two dogs. Roomy and clean, very beautiful cottage. Fully appointed kitchen with all the supplies one needs. We built a fire in the big handsome fireplace, also with all the tools needed. We appreciated the choice of two dining areas, we pretty much stuck to the breakfast nook. Every morning we dropped the girls at Jay Peak, then myself, wife and dogs, hiked, relaxed, napped and enjoyed the quiet. Would love to do it again!”

“My family and I had a great stay at this charming cottage. Our youngest enjoyed playing in the yard and making friends with the animals. We enjoyed the fresh eggs in the fridge (nice touch!). The cottage is cozy and has everything you need, including fast internet. The hosts are communicative and responsive. Highly recommend!”

“Rented the place in mid-oct for a second-marriage honeymoon. The place was easy to find and was set up perfectly for a two person cozy stay. House faces the sunset and has a deck and sitting porch. Brought my little boat and the boating access is across the street. We had zero issues. We would definitely come back!! Definitely worth it. 👌 ”
