“This was a beautiful area to stay in. Kay, our host was really warm and welcoming. The accommodation was in excellent order, very clean, modern and with everything we needed in the kitchen.Having the alpacas and goat added another pleasant dimension. “Well Cottage is absolutely charming in every way! Great location, well appointed, and very clean with comfy beds and a great bathroom. (note: the bathtub/shower can be pretty high to step into for older or disabled folks but you can hold on to the sink to help you in--see the photos). About 9 steps to get upstairs. Bourton-on-the-Water is just a lovely village! A lot of other people must think so too--lots of tourists but they are well behaved, mostly families. Would love to stay there again.……

“What a beautiful property within a perfect, tranquil setting. Loved sitting on the canal side watching the canal boats go by and watching the wonderful wildlife. Plenty of seating options within the spacious grounds. It was a central base for us to visit Stratford Upon Avon but mainly to visit the stunning Cotswolds. The property is very well presented with every amenity for a home from home experience. Liz and Alan are wonderful hosts, loved talking to them but they are by no means intrusive……

“We were a group of 4 friends who met at University (a long time ago!).We’re spread across the country so this location just off the M40 was ideal. The facilities are great. Where else can you find the exclusive use of a tennis court, swimming pool and a snooker table?! The owner’s communication before and during our stay were first class. Check-in was very easy.No issues at all and you can safely ignore other reviews about the motorhomes causing parking problems -they are blocked parked down……

“We had a very quiet time at this pod. The facility was recently built, so it was modern, warm, and comfortable with a great view. It was great that they had a wide variety of coffee and tea, and that cooking utensils were well-equipped. I also felt that they were committed to sustainability, such as using Faith in Nature shampoo. Things to keep in mind are that it would be that there was no dishwasher or washing machine, so everything had to be washed by hand.”

"We happened to stay during a heatwave. The room had no air conditioning, only a fan. The room was spacious but really needs an update. The corners of the bed and the duvet cover were torn. The wallpaper was also peeling. The bathroom renovation was acceptable. Breakfast was in buffet style but the refills were too slow—there was nothing left to eat and all the juices ran out."
