I stayed here a fairly long time back when they had a hostel style dorm room. Loved it then and loved it now!

The hotel is an older style. The room is small, but ok since its was only to sleep in. There is a common are downstairs to sit and relax in. The room had only one chair and is not a room to lounge around, only suited for sleeping. This style has its charm. There was coffee always available in a small kitchen. A few amenities there. We liked our stay very much. Bed was comfortable, the place was quiet.

Hotel was very clean and friendly. We were tired after a day of traveling so couldn't take advantage of the lovely patio. Really liked the town of White Salmon, and the hotel is an easy walk to the downtown area with restaurants and a wonderful bakery.

Staff was very attentive and friendly, although the front desk may not always be staffed. They have office hours, but they seem to be easily reached by phone if they’re not at the desk. Our room was very clean & comfortable! We loved the back patio area and beautiful view of mount hood!

This hotel is way over-rated. They dont tell you that you have 8 steps to carry your luggage up just to get to the front desk. AC in the room is a portable unit with a hose through the wall to the outside. Tried to go to sleep and the AC starte d sounding like a jet engine. Has to turn it off to get to sleep. In the morning, we were awakened by people talking at the front desk which our room was directly next to. This hotel is totally over-priced. Dont waste your money.
