“Needed a quiet, safe, pleasant place for 2 older ladies and a dog for a couple days, and this could not have been more perfect. Thoughtful, lovely planting around a capacious cabin, much time was spent outdoors just being there. Feeling of absolute peaceful privacy, calm and lovely. The long stretch of actively farmed fields on one side, the endlessly changing light on a diverse marsh on the other, very Eastern Shore. Obviously a cabin celebrating hunting, during the various seasons, would be……

Moreover, a bouquet of flowers was placed on the island’s kitchen transforming the moment into a celebration. The fully stocked kitchen made this our home from home. It was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay again.”

“We had an amazing time at the purple door! We wrre able to brimg our fur baby which was a HUGE plus. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. I arrived knowing we made a good choice. Its a very cute little place. There was never a claim to be a luxury, upscale rental. Yes there could be a few updates. The air conditioner worked fine for us in a heatwave.
