Views were nice and proximity to the park were nice but that’s where the positives end. Creaky floors, noise that travels down the hallway. Train that’s 30 yards away and restaurant only open for dinner and extremely pricy. The beds are not queen size either. They are full size and the shower is equivalent to a standup locker room shower.

I loved staying here. Very authentic, relaxing, and clean. I loved that we could open the windows in our room to adjust the temperature and that they also offered a white noise machine. Free coffee and pastries in the morning, and right outside of the Glacier National Park West Entrance. It’s perfect.

Wonderful quaint Swiss style chalet. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful. I hope to travel to this charming place again!

Very Basic

The lication to Glacier Park was great. However, there are no modern amenities such as a mini fridge nor television in the rooms. The walls are paper thin and the breakfast was a piece of cake and coffee.

Stayed a week here in July and it was perfect location for seeing the park everyday. Older property but it has all the lodge charm I needed and I appreciated not having TV.. Staff were exceptional as I interacted with them everyday when I went down to the lobby for my coffee fix. Would definitely stay again!

Historic and served its purpose. Could be updated, but great location right outside west entrance to park and great restaurant. Cute lobby. Great staff.

Beautiful chalet. Staff was fantastic. Restaurant superb. Drawbacks were the room was very cramped with no ability to unpack and on the bottom floor you hear every creak and step and movement from the people upstairs. They know this, so a white noise generator and earplugs are provided. Given the positives, I still recommend - but be aware, and get a room upstairs if at all possible.

Its an old building, next too a railway, so, you'll hear every creek and train that passes. But strangely, this did not bother us. It felt very in keeping with is sourrndings. Its convenient to get into West Glacier and the restaurant we thought was brilliant, really tasty food. Staff were really friendly and useful. I'd stay again.

Great old hotel originally built by the railroad. Room was small but comfortable. Place had nice touches with nice porch area, game room and danish provided by their restaurant. The restaurant was excellent.
