From Ohio

Was disappointed that pool/ hot tub was not open. Also that there wasn’t any beach-all private. Place was kind of impersonal. Upstairs was loud. Dishwasher didn’t work and I would have stayed another night but with another service fee it was expensive.

Issues with check-in

The property was fine. A bit dated but in a great location. However, the issue was when we arrived and operations manager was waiting for us to tell us that the sofa bed was broken. We took a look and it was propped up with a bucket at an angle. We wound up renting another condo through another site after the manager stated there were no other properties available which resulted in another fee.

It was horrible

Neighbors was rude as hell, would not let me leave one morning, made way too much noise. Did not match the listing, will never come back. Had to go get a hotel to get some sleep after one night.

Nice Stay

It was exactly what we were looking for along with being an easy walk into Whitefish. Nice walk down to the lake. Comfy bed. The internet went down on us for awhile, but otherwise, a nice stay.

Nice place, beautiful view

Everything went smoothly. My only complaint is that it’s hard to reach management if you need them. They take awhile to text you back and answer the phone, so hard to get an instant answer to any questions. But otherwise it was great. Would stay here again.

Basic lodging

This is a clean and comfortable condo. My only complaint is there is inadequate insulation between the floor and ceiling. I was in a lowered level and the people above sounded like a herd of elephants walking about at all hours. Woke me from sleep repeatedly.

The area is lovely. Deer grazing in the neighborhood. Easy to access. Property was clean. I think I paid a little too much though for the size and quality of the condo.

Whitefish Condo

My overall impression of the property was good. The living room furniture quality was poor with the couch being very uncomfortable. The living room also needs a new TV. The old one is too small and has poor picture quality. The kitchen was lacking on having enough silverware. There was barely enough for two people. The property is old and in need of some repairs but the overall condition was good.

Hope Your Hearing is Bad

Dated property needs TLC. Extremely noisy downstairs unit. Could hear every footstep from above. Additionally, there were random noises all the time that we couldn't figure out. Either doors slamming or heat exchangers making noises. Took us about an hour to get the TV to work. No instructions. Not great for the cost.

Dark and noisy

The location of this condo is amazing, Whitefish is amazing and Vacasa is great and responsive. The condo grounds are manicured and the interior is clean and a fine place to stay for the price if you are ok with a few things. First off the lighting is low and nothing like the pictures in the ad, I had to replace a light bulb in one of the lamps when I got there. Secondly you can hear every step the people in the upstairs unit take and they get up early, also there is a huge crashing sound that happens when the electric baseboard heaters reach a certain temp, I got used to it when I figured out where it was coming from but still annoying. Third, the place is advertised with a pool, hotub and game room, but they dont tell you up front that the game room is only open in Summer and the pool facility is only open Thurs-Sun AND closes at 8pm and the pool is freezing cold and you have to ask for the access code, its not anywhere in the unit. but the hot tub is great. Finally the toilet has issues internally and you have to jiggle the handle after you flush or it will run forever. There were lots of clean towels and sheets but the down comforter on the twin bed was really just a sheet so I had to turn up the heat to sleep.

Not what we expected for the price

We reserved the plane a couple months in advance because it had a pool and spa. Two days before checking in I was informed the pool and spa facility were closed due to "state covid regulations"... there currently are no restrictions on Montana. The day I checked in we were informed there was construction in the upstairs units during the day so it was noisy. The electric heaters barely worked (its Montana...we had temperatures in the high 30s at night) and they made horrible banging sound randomly throughout the stay. The floors were dirty, the was mouse droppings on the floor, and a mouse was running around the living room during our stay. The toilet handle was broken and the toilet under the room was filthy. The front screen was torn and there was a broken picture in the bedroom. The spray nozzle on the sink also wouldn't pull out so it wasn't usable. Over all, the whole place looked run down and dirty for as much as we paid.

This property is very well located as we were visiting Montana Veterans Home. The condo was clean. My only complaint were the lumpy pillows!! I will come back and stay again

It’s a great location and the price was decent, but there were problems, toilet seat broken/plus the chain kept coming off. And a strange noise through the night, all night, didn’t sleep well so we left a day early.

Good location, mediocre lodging experience

We really enjoyed our summer visit to Whitefish--it's an awesome town! We spent time mountain biking and hiking at the ski hill and having dinners outdoors in town. This condo unit is located near the lake, and the lake and dock access was pretty much the only part of what we liked about staying in this unit. The upstairs neighbors sound like they're stomping around constantly, and the darkness and lack of view from the unit (you're looking at a chain-link fence and the roof of a house below) make it feel dark and kind of a bummer. The pullout bed is the worst I've ever seen or felt (it had a visible dent in it), so our daughter chose to take the cushions off the couch to sleep on the floor. Pretty lame! So, overall, we were happy when we were outdoors and swimming or adventuring, and kind of bummed out by this unit.
