“We were three tired moms looking for some quiet and a place to catch up with each other and this home was so spotlessly clean, charming, and peaceful that we were able to recharge and head back to our homes ready to face our sweet families. So thankful for the love that was put into restoring this amazing treasure of a spot! So close to so many good places too but off the beaten path. Can’t wait to return! ”

“My grandparents stayed for their anniversary. They had a minor issue with the door lock but the host was quick to come over and help. They enjoyed their stay.”

We had room for the 5 children to roam on the playground or in the playroom with the pool table and/or adult time too in the private hot tub setting and/or building a nice fire in the firepit. This quaint home has what you need to keep everybody busy doing something. We also had fun playing board games together. Nice accommodations and close to Sight and Sound Theatre.”

“The private setting was idyllic for this 18th century farm house. The rolling hills, woodlands, and landscaping, plus the yellow cow who kept watch over us, made for a fairytale weekend. The house was beautifully restored, with amenities added that did not detract from the historical appeal. Edwina had everything that we needed to make our stay lovely, right down to a plate of delicious homemade cookies on our arrival. I hope to come back and stay here in the future, and would highly recommend……

“This house was perfect for our family. We stayed Feb 2025, 15 family members. Plenty of room for all. House was immaculate and well stocked - plenty of dishes, cookware, etc. Everyone's favorite was the coffee nook - regular coffee pot, Kerig, plenty of coffee, tea, sugar and creamer. I had to call the host twice while we were there with basic questions - she got back to me right away and was very sweet. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“This was a lovely retreat for myself. Having different options to sit outside was beneficial and i especially liked looking over the hill by the bedroom while enjoying the dawn and dusk sun. I appreciated the amenities and spacious areas. Though i noticed it in the pictures, i was surprised by no curtains on the windows, especially over the bedroom glass door. The area is private but no way to block out the sun. ”
