We really liked the location of this property. It was easy to walk to a number of restaurants and to walk along the river front. The room was basic and clean. Would stay again.

I would tell people to not judge a book by its cover. Although the property looks a bit worn on the outside, it is plush and comfy on the inside. Lived up to its billing and I would stay again if I am in the area.

The other reviews are not giving it the credit it deserves. For what we paid we were very happy with the spacious room, the friendly staff and despite the few lingering folks outside the 98, the local in Whitehorse was fantastic, walkable to everything we needed(no vehicle) I was a bit worried about past reviews but I was pleasantly surprised with hotel

The only thing I liked about this property was that the guy at the counter was very friendly and personable. Everything else was terrible. The whole building is run down and filthy and the entire building including the room smelled like cigarette smoke

Great little spot close to everything with friendly, helpful staff. The room was really clean, but the bathroom was a little tired. Ok by me though because the price was right and the location was superb. Thanks!

bed was extremely hard and put my back out bathroom threshold between carpet and oleum was bad didn’t exist. King was separated from the sink. The sink was cockeyed stains on magnolia floor in the bathroom. It was not pleased.

This property does not live up to the name! It is run down and in poor condition. The shower was yellowed and needed caulked after removal of mold. The sink was cracked in several places and the faucet handles swiveled all the way around and would not turn off. We were booked for 2 nights the best part was they refunded the second night and we found a cleaner, nicer hotel near by.

Rude staff, miserable accommodations, dangerous facilities and poor infrastructure all combined to make this a “avoid at all costs” dumpster fire. Sleep in your car before staying here.

The outside of the hotel is older, but when you walk inside it looks clean and bright, and it also smells clean. It is apparent that the housekeepers take pride in their work. The staff are friendly and efficient with check in and check out. The parking sucks for those who are in larger vehicles, though it is doable. This hotel is also great for dog owners as it’s near an amazing trail and river access. Definitely my new go to in Whitehorse.

Well, I don't know what to say, I think it is what it is, considering what is obtainable generally in Whitehorse. The mattress was so uncomfortable that sound sleep was impossible - I woke up with a body ache after the first night. No AC, and the 1970 tiny table fan could not help but blow hot. The quality of the bathroom is nothing to write home about - I don't know how to describe it. The duvet was stained with mud at multiple locations, and they just covered it up with a clean sheet. I just had to cut my trip short and check out earlier than planned. Note, the cost is about $187 per night

My biggest complaint is that for a northern hotel they don't have adequate window coverings to keep out the midnight sun. The light coming through the curtains made it impossible to get a full nights sleep. Stinks of stale cigarette smoke which they try to cover with daily spraying of air freshener. Thin walls making it rather noisy. Not suitable for a light sleeper.
