“The property was clean and just as advertised. The owner was also very flexible in extending our check out time by a little bit since the checkout time was 10 and we had a funeral at 1, leaving us with 3 hours of downtime. We were all very appreciative and would leave a higher review if possible!”

“We came in to town for Thanksgiving. We generally stay with family but wanted our own place this time around. The pictures were spot on. It is a large home and has plenty of space to spread out if needed. The beds were cozy. We spent our evenings watching tv in the living room with the fireplace on. Pretty close to everything. Quiet little neighborhood.”

“The whole property is gorgeous. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. It was very clean and comfortable from the welcoming gifts in EVERY room to the kitchen loaded with what ever utensil you could possibly need. The close proximity of a store and the ample places to put things. Every night there was a movie in the theatre with popcorn. The billiards room with space to play and the parlor for quiet talks. We could not have been more pleased. ”

“We made last minute changes to our July off-road plans. This meant finding a new spot over a holiday weekend that allowed dogs ASAP. BJ quickly responded to my Facebook post about the opening and was very welcoming! We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend in Evarts! We loved the location to the trails! “This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The location is good and the owner is great. Kim is very responsive. We had an issue with the temperature in the place and Kim addressed it quickly and attentively; and it was resolved. Even my dog was comfortable staying there. He usually barks when we leave him alone (crated), but he didn't while there. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The home itself was spotless, well-maintained, and full of charm. One of our favorite features was the lovely back porch—perfect for relaxing in the morning with coffee or winding down in the evening.The location was central and convenient, with easy access to nearby lakes and only about two hours from both the Kentucky Horse Park and Natural Bridge State Resort Park. “What a lovely place to stay in the mountains of southwest Virginia. We visit BSG nearly every year for a family reunion. The only decent hotel in town has seen better days and we wanted something more comfortable. This trip was my 84 year old Dad and me.
