“We visit Ellijay twice a year and stay somewhere new each time. The kids had a BLAST! The check in process was smooth as usual with Coosawattee’s front ranger station type setup. And access to the actual property was short and simple. We also appreciated the proximity to the main indoor pool, putt putt and arcade. But we only visited those amenities once this time because the Octagon shaped cabin had so much fun inside! The hot tub, the SLIDE, poker with friends, arcade games, board games,……

“We had a wonderful time at 5 hikes! There was a total of 13 of us there (6 adults and 7 kids). Even with a larger group we had plenty of space.Here are my highlights - 1) There’s not a better view in blue ridge. Truly stunning! Great porch set up too with a tv so you can hangout, watch the game, and still enjoy the view. 2) The kitchen was extremely well stocked. “Perfect house for our family’s last minute getaway. Great views of the river and included everything we needed. The only negative was the large deposit required (almost 2x the rental fee) and the time to get that released, but this is more of a VRBO issue.”

“What a beautiful setting and a great house for our family time. There was plenty of space for our family of 8 adults and 6 children. Everyone enjoyed the deck with the amazing view, the hot tub and the game room downstairs. The kitchen is also very well stocked. We loved doing the hike just off of the driveway to visit the scenic waterfall. Matt was super to work with and gave great communication before we arrived and made himself available should any questions come up during our stay. We……

“ The cottage was very cute and comfortable. One block from town making it easy to walk to shopping and dining. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our breakfast every morning. Beds were comfortable, had a washer and dryer, and there were plenty of supplies for laundry, dishwashing, etc. Also provided soap and shampoo. On our last day we walked to the farmers market one block away. It was lovely. I would definitely stay there again!”

“We stayed in this property while our son played baseball in Cartersville. The property was clean and looks as advertised. The steps are challenging leading up to the house so someone should keep that in mind if there are mobility issues. The mattresses and linens should be upgraded. No one slept great. All in all, I am pleased with the rental because the nightly rate compensated for some of the average features. ”
