“When we finally worked out where the house was on this desolate property, we were greeted by a dilapidated boxing bag and home gym on the balcony. Inside we discovered a filthy kitchen, glassware and cooking utensils, stained cushions, carpets, chairs and couch, horrendously dirty inside windows, a desolate deck, dismal firepit area, and a creepy caravan in the bushes. No charming vistas, just a grotty dam and rubbish. To be fair, the bathrooms were modern and clean. The beds were also……

“We loved staying in the Tiny House. The location is so peaceful. We took a walk around the property and saw Kangaroos and an emu. We loved cooking on the open fire and the bed was super comfortable. ”

“Fenton's is good for large groups. We particularly liked the outdoor area with the fire and it was also handy having a bar area! The hosts had thought of everything - plenty of blankets for us to use around the fire, loads of glasses in the kitchen, cocktail shakers, 2 fridges, plenty of coffee pods and the beds were very cosy and warm. “Beautiful home in a great part of the world. No issues with communication or check-in even though we literally booked the accommodation the night before. Tastefully renovated and had everything that was needed and more. Being right near the Argyle Inn was an added bonus. Was a shame we were only there for the night. Looking forward to getting back there ASAP for a long weekend. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Taralga Terraces - Whiting's Store and loved the town. It was cold so we made the most of the combustion fire and the beds were cozy and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had all the amenities we needed. We ventured out to Wombeyan Caves and also had dinner at The Argyle Inn which was fantastic. Crookwell is also a lovely little town. Lisa was a great host and easy to communicate with. We would love to come back to this centrally located property.”
