Overall, the stay was pleasant.
Plus side - The ladies that checked me in and out were pleasant and friendly. The room was clean, mostly quiet. Room service visited on the first day and, when they refreshed my towels, saw my make up on the counter and left a makeup remover towelette in the fold of the new hand towel. I thought that was a nice touch.
Minus side - There was a 3-inch gap under the door that allowed all the noise of the hallway into the room. I had to put a towel under the door to alleviate some of it. The fact that there was a 3/4-inch gap around the rest of the door, I couldn't do anything about.
Negative - on my second evening, there were people using the indoor pool on the ground level and a kid was screeching for at least 30 minutes. I could here her in my room on the 3rd floor. When I went out to dinner, I stopped by the front desk to let the desk clerk know the kid could be heard on the 3rd floor. His response was 'yes, i can hear them'. I said so could I on the 3rd floor. He said, 'well, they'll be getting out soon'. I realize it was only about 8 o'clock in the evening but i had been trying to rest after a busy day before going to dinner. I should have known not to expect better from a hotel that shares a parking lot with the Motel 6.
