DO NOT STAY AT THIS HAMPTON!
This was by far the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at. The entrance to the hotel looks like you are entering a dirty gas station. I should’ve turned around right then, but I was traveling for work and tired. It took forever to check-in (or even be acknowledged) because the two staff members were chatting it up with another lady standing at the counter. When they finally acknowledged my existence, they double charged me for the room since I had already paid through Expedia. They couldn’t refund the additional charge to my credit card that they just made—instead told me to call around noon the next day.
There is a renovation underway so I can overlook construction. The floor I was on had been renovated already so I was hoping I would at least have a new, clean room. Wrong again. The cleaning crew needs help. It looked like they used butter to clean the bathroom mirror and window. Both were dirty and smeared with something. The bathroom floor was dirty, grout stained in certain places already and the shower drain was rusted out. Wish I would’ve taken a picture but I was too tired.
I will sleep in my car before I ever stay at this hotel again.
