“This was a very clean property. I was concerned about 2 things prior to my trip. A hotel room with no bugs (so many in the area have terrifying reviews) and a safe location. I was completely satisfied on both accounts. As a bonus this hotel has a large map in the lobby with what to do & places to go in the surrounding area. Its a 2 minute drive from the American River. The metro that goes to downtown is right across the street. Did I say clean, it was very clean & our room was exceptional. ”

“Great hotel in the middle of horse country. If you are into anything equestrian, this is the place for you. We are not, but went there for some peace and relaxation. We got that. We had two great massages from truly amazing therapists. The food is outstanding at the Gate restaurant, but watch out of you can't tolerate salt. Some items were way over-salted. But if you ask them for no salt, things are amazing. Well prepared and thought-out dishes. Great, fresh ingredients. Rooms are good size, and……
