“We had a great time! There is so much to do - kayaking, swimming in the pool, fishing. Great places to eat in Douglas, too! The house is obviously tiny, so it's kind of like camping with a TV, toilet and shower which was fun. There is no real space to just hang out inside for more than two people but as long as the weather is nice, you will not want to be inside anyway! Sam was so nice and so were his boys! Our two boys had a great time with his sons and the guests in the adjacent bungalow……

“This home was perfect for our needs. The home was cleaned well and felt welcoming. There were a lot of thoughtful and welcoming touches - a few individually packaged snacks, some dish soap and clorox wipes, etc. The beds are comfortable and the shower was amazing. We didnt really need anything in the kitchen. It really felt like stepping into someones home in the best way. We got to enjoy stars at night and kids running around in yard during the day. “We were in Fitzgerald for a family funeral. Our family needed and deserved a getaway. But also we needed a place to call home for a few days. We all enjoyed a little nature before and after the funeral and our days there became a bit of healing time though we didnt expect or plan on it. Our host's communication was excemebt.
