“I didn’t realize this was more of a B&B than a hotel. I’ve never stayed in a B&B before, so my expectations were a little off. It is an older home with a small, skinny staircase to get to the rooms, and the family who owns it lives there. That said, the room was like a little apartment. “wir waren in einer sehr großen Ferienwohnung untergebracht, die modern und mit sehr hochwertigen Möbeln und Küche eingerichtet wurde. Das Frühstück im Hotel eigenen Restaurant war lecker und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das Restaurant selbst ist auch zu empfehlen, wir haben dort zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit zu Abend gegessen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen ”

“Magical stay in a beautiful castle! I ate the best meal I have ever had in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet was extensive and tasty! My husband said he had the best eggs! It was just a lovey stay, but book a taxi ahead of time as it’s difficult to reach them if you arrive in the evening. Go into Eschwege as it is a picturesque town with a very helpful tourist center.”

“Schönes modernes Zimmer, groß und sauber auf den ersten Blick. Ansich ein tolles Appartement. Jedoch hat mir nicht gefallen dass die Temperatur nicht regelbar war und wenn man die Klima ganz ausmachte dann hätte man automatisch keine Heizung. Das Thermostat war blockiert auf 21 Grad. Wenn man vom Tag durchgefroren ist nicht ausreichend. Westrecht wenn man mit Gebläse nicht schlafen kann. Es gibt noch eine Heizung im Bad die aber Nachts abschaltet. Es war einfach zu kalt. “Besonders angenehm war das Bett in unserem Zimmer. Es war sehr groß und stabil und ich habe hier sehr gut geschlafen! Die Umgebung war auch sehr ruhig. Es gab zu wenig Parkplatz.”
