Location of property is convenient to Busch Gardens and delivery food options. The price of the stay was comparable to other hotels in the area, the difference here is because most of the amenities and brand standards that you’d expect from a Hilton Doubletree were missing. The hotel room has a dated layout with very limited lighting and no options to adjust. The bathroom was wrought with mechanical issues including a toilet not properly affixed to wall, no moisture ventilation in bathroom and the in room refrigerator was barely functional. Our room was on first floor and every morning when walked out and the hallway smelled of sewage seepage. The only microwave near our room was in the main lobby. There were multiple electrical outlets not working, which limited our ability to charge electronic devices and use the in-room coffee machine. The noise immediately above our room was loud at all hours with children running and screaming down the hallway till 2am. The pool which was adjacent to our first floor room was loud at all hours and there were people throwing balls in water and no hotel staff oversight of the pool area aside from clean towels being available. The hotel was booked to capacity therefore no chance to change room. There are several hotels in the area that are comparable in price with newer accommodations, and baseline amenities included like an in-room microwave, refrigerator and complementary breakfast buffet. This will be the last Hilton I stay in.

I really dislike having to pay to park when I am staying there. And paying for breakfast is Crazy to me. You rooms are not cheap!! Really should be included. Don't think we will be staying again and you hold money on my card for damages, That should be add after my stay!! If something is done. JUST TO MANY FEES!!!

The first room on 2nd floor was smelling very bad like mildew . I let the hotel staff know and was transferred to the 4th floor where everything was fine . Also know that the parking is very misleading it states parking on premises is free in google and Expedia where I booked but than when you get there , they charge you $12 per day !

The hotel was so fancy, but still kid friendly. The staff was very quick and helpful. They text so we had a quick and easy communication line, but housekeeping also stopped in the morning to see if we needed anything. It was clean, updated, comfortable, and safe. Complete with complimentary chocolate chip cookies! Great stay. Little costly, but so worth it.

Overall the hotel is okay. This was listed as a 4 star property and I would disagree. It is outdated and a bit run down. The staff that was there was very nice but obviously short staffed. We waited for 20 min to be seated for a pre-paid buffet breakfast. The food options at the bar/restaurant were limited. The food was not good. The pool was great - it was very busy with lots of family’s but the hotel lacked staff picking up towels, trash etc. so the pool was messy. They had a hard time keeping up with the pool towels. Every time we were there - there was not any towels.

Staff was kind and welcoming. Bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned. Tissue box had a dirty napkin inside and was not refilled debris in the bathtub. Elevator was not working properly.

The bed and linens were comfortable. The TV was a nice size. Front desk personnel were very helpful. One thing that I didn't like was the water quality. It seemed very hard compared to previous visits. I also don't like that you have started charging for parking since my last visit.

Voordeel van dit hotel is dat het erg dichtbij pretpark Busch Gardens Williamsburg ligt. De kamer was ruim en de bedden lagen prima. Echter zat er wel een grote gele vlek in het beddengoed en een oude bloedvlek. Medewerkers waren ook niet allemaal even vriendelijk.
