The temperature control between the upper and lower levels was non-existent. The lower level of the property was freezing cold and it has to remain so in order to make the upper levels bearable. The contact for this property never responded to emails asking for assistance.

History Nerds

My husband and I selected this condo because of its convenient location to the historical triangle. The condo was tastefully decorated, clean, and had all the amenities of home. The neighbors were also very friendly. We would certainly stay here again if we return to the area.

Great Girls Weekend

Needs more supplies

This property was clean but just a basic builder grade unit. Mismatched appliances and basic fixtures. All the toilets were slow draining and required multiple flushes to clear the bowls at times. Biggest complaint was a lack of spare linens and bath towels, etc. Each bed had 1 towel and 1 bath cloth placed at it's foot. That is all we got. There weren't even hand towels in the bathroom. Instead, there was a roll of paper towels at each sink. And there weren't spare rolls of paper towels either. One bathroom didn't have a bath mat which created a slip hazard when exiting the shower. The front door had an electronic lock but the code was not used for the guest. Instead, there was a manual lock box attached to the door which was a little bit of a pain entering the unit at night. We will probably look for other accommodations next time we come to Williamsburg.

We rented the town house for a 3-night Christmas stay. It was very comfortable, well-decorated, and clean. Some of the supplies weren't available, but otherwise the home was just right for the occasion.

Great Location

This was a repeat stay for us. There were a few things different or could be better. For the fees charged and expectation of how the guest must prepare the house for the next person I don't think I should be limited to two rolls of toilet paper and a roll of paper towels per bath for a family of six for a 5 day stay. NO extra linen not even a pillow case for the spare pillow. And lastly, we did see a roach or two. As a property manager monthy extrmination would likely take care of this since its so minimal. Overall, the stay the home is really a nice choice.

Great Place and Great Location!

The house was great. Very close to awesome restaurants, tourists attractions and even a grocery store! Easy to get all the supplies you need for your stay (there was even a small welcome bag waiting for us with some travel essentials - a nice touch). The livening room is set up kind of odd if you do watch tv…but it really didn’t bother us that much. The only thing that was an issue was on the really hot days we were there, the upstairs did not cool down very well (bottom level was fine). Other than that, it was a great stay in a great location. Owner was easy to work with and so many things around the area to do for fun. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Nice tidy apartment with strong potpourri scent

Nice, clean, apartment. Apartment for the most part was very clean, and smelled of potpourri. My only suggestion would be to shampoo master bedroom carpets, which were a tad sticky in some areas. We worked around this by leaving our slippers on. Host gave simple check-in/check-out instructions via email. No hidden fees upon check-out. Overall, a great experience with this rental, and looking forward to using VRBO again in the near future. David C. (New Jersey)

Beautiful, convenient location and clean

Plenty of room for the 5 of us. The best thing about this rental is that it is roomy and is in a great location. Living room furniture is a bit uncomfortable and oddly laid out if you are trying to watch TV, but other than that everything was great.

General comments

Generally the townhouse was great. But internet connection was iffy and sometimes we couldn't get phone service there. As another reviewer said, the furniture is not positioned for optimal TV viewing and since you can't move it, we made do. But a simple adjustment would make it much better. Great location to Colonial Wmsburg and the Outlets and a gas station, Food Lion and Riteaid are right up the street.

Pleasant and clean place to stay. Convenient to all Williiamsburg has to offer. Close to shopping and restaurants. Only suggestion would be to provide more bath towels.

Very quiet neighborhood, very clean house!

My family of four (with a 2 yr old and 6 yr old) greatly enjoyed our stay at this property for a fun time at Busch Gardens, Water Country, and some other local attractions (we love the VA living museum less than an hour away!). It shows some age, but we were impressed by the cleanliness of the town home. The property manager responded by e-mail to a couple questions I sent in a very timely manner during our visit. We would love to see some more utensils/kithchen supplies available, and perhaps a different seating arrangement in the main room to make watching TV convenient. We really liked the location as well- super quiet, away from things, but right next to a Food Lion and not far from many Williamsburg attractions. Would definitely consider again!

Convenient location and roomy

This 2 story townhouse was very convenient to Colonial Williamsburg, shopping and restaurants. The place was well kept but we did have some issues with the place. We did not have soap to wash dishes by hand so everything had to be put in the dishwasher. We did find some of the cups and dishes were put away dirty in the cabinet so they had to be re-washed. The family room with the TV was very uncomfortable to sit and watch TV. The furniture is not facing the TV and there is a sign in the room saying that you can't move the furniture. The TV upstairs in the master bedroom was not connected to the satellite dish so we couldn't watch TV upstairs. Another issue was the heating. The upstairs would get really warm if you set the thermostat to make the downstairs more comfortable so you had to decide if you wanted to be hot upstairs and comfortable downstairs or be cold downstairs to be comfortable upstairs. The best thing about this rental is that it is roomy and is in a great location. We did have issues with how clean the dishes were in the kitchen and also the layout of the family room in relation to the TV.

Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located

It was a nice place for our family, including 4 kids. It was convenient to the Historic Triangle area attractions we wanted to see and gave us a good place to rest and recouperate at the end of each day of exploration. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. With a big family and plenty of laundry to do even on a trip, it was nice that the washer and dryer were brand new and had a good capacity. This property suited our needs very well.

Very nice and conveniently located

Older home but very clean and well cared for. convenient to busch gardens, outlet mall and not too far from the interstate. My team and I were there for work so we didnt really get to enjoy the area much. If you are considering renting one of those timeshare condos, I would recommend considering this home when making your selection.
