Daydreamer is the perfect home for families looking for a Pure Michigan experience. Located on Lake Skegemog, this cottage offers 75 feet of private, sandy bottomed lake frontage for guest use. This charming 3 bedroom, two bathroom home accommodates up to 6 guests with all of the comforts of home including air conditioning, wifi, smart TVs, fully stocked kitchen, propane grill, washer and dryer and more.

The home is located in Williamsburg, MI and is close to amazing area attractions including Flint Fields - home of the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival. A 20 minute drive puts guests in Traverse City, home of the National Cherry Festival. Traverse City boasts some of Michigan's best restaurants, beaches, shopping and wineries. Guests looking to explore Northern Michigan and everything that it has to offer will be thrilled with the location as attractions such as the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and the Mackinaw Bridge are both within a day trip driving distance. Daydreamer offers guests a comfortable place to come back and relax after a day full of adventures.

For guests looking for more relaxation and less hustle and bustle, Daydreamer is the perfect place to be. The home offers many comforts including a fully stocked kitchen to make preparing a meal easy and with a dishwasher, clean up is a breeze. Guests are welcome to moor a boat and enjoy a day on the water. Guests can spend the day on the lake, clean up in the outdoor shower and grill a meal on the large deck with ample seating. We recommend taking advantage of the firepit and making s'more while reminiscing about the day's adventures.

Please note that this home is rented for your quiet enjoyment. Due to liability reasons, township rules and insurance policies, day guests are not permitted without expressed permissions from Management. Guest capacity for the home is NOT to be exceeded at any time. Guests not adhering to this rule could face a fine or eviction as outlined in our terms and conditions that are agreed upon by renting our home. Capacity is strictly enforced and randomly checked.

We will provide a starter package of paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap and/or dishwasher tabs if a dishwasher is available at the property. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase more of these items. Other items not included in this list are not guaranteed. Please reach out to management to inquire if a particular amenity is important to your stay, or plan accordingly.

Safe Quiet and 10 min from TCHS
My family (myself, husband and our daughters 11&13) rented the house while we were in town to horse show for TCHS spring II and III. Location was perfect. We rented 2 paddle boards from The River Outfitters. They delivered them to the house.

What a charming and perfect little lake cottage.
We weren't sure what to expect renting this location, as we have never explored the Williamsburg area, but the photos looked really nice, and we are very thankful we made the choice to book. This is a fantastic little cottage on the lake, that we cannot wait to book again in the future.

Private getaway close to Traverse!
Rented this property for a long weekend in October. The colors up north are beautiful, and the view over the lake was wonderful! The house itself is a great size. Nice living/dining combo and kitchen. Beds have sufficient room to spread out and lay suitcases open. The mattresses themselves are a bit firm, so if you prefer a softer mattress, bring a mattress topper or something along those lines. Property itself was large. Didn’t use much outside as it was pretty chilly, but I could imagine a nighttime fire outside while hearing the waves upon the shore would be magical! Great communication with the property manager. She was very clear with instructions and reached out before, during, and after our stay to ensure everything was good. Overall, a great stay!

The Cozy Cottage was very clean, comfortable, and is a beautiful setting on Elk Lake. The owners have provided everything we needed to relax, cook, and hangout. Definitely our new favorite place for our annual getaway.

Fantastic stay
This property is in a great location. We loved mooring our boat on the mooring buoy and just hopping on it when we wanted to head to Torch Lake or Elk Lake. So this is in a prime location. Great cottage!
Even though we picked the worst week for vacation due to all the rain, we had the best time! The cottage was clean and nicely decorated. We also appreciated that it was well stocked. Kirsten was super helpful and gave us ideas of places to go on our rainy days. The neighbors were very friendly, too. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect lake getaway
Excellent experience. Home is clean, updated, and as pictured/described. Beautiful lot on a quiet lake... Just far enough from surrounding towns to be chill and relaxing, but close enough to be convenient to shopping, restaurants, and activities. Great communication and attentiveness from Kirsten. Excellent Lake Front Property
Wonderful lake home with easy access to Elk and Torch Lake. Not the most modern of homes but perfect for a family getaway on the lake. The owner was easy to work with and flexible. The lady who comes to water the plants was friendly and fun to talk with. The dock was old but easy to tie our pontoon up to for the day for easy access to the water.

A great alternative to Torch Lake
Due to scheduling issues, we booked our vacation later than most do. We found this cottage and it had many things that we were looking for - lake front, an area to moor our pontoon (mooring buoy), fire pit by the lake, parking for our boat trailer and more. The cottage worked great for our vacation. Everything was very clean and in great condition. A nice patio outside with umbrella allowed us to do most of our dining outdoors while looking out over the lake. Lake Skegmog was great for kayaking and only 30 min ride to the sandbar at Torch Lake. Will definitely consider booking this house if we vacation to this area again.
