“Perfect getaway spot for all weather!We had to stay indoors due to chilly rain all weekend, but there was plenty to do!4 thrift stores nearby and lovely dining opportunities.There was plenty to do at the house as well, video games, pool table, and hot tub were all a big hit.”

“Very much enjoyed the property. Set up of house allows for large groups yet provides privacy. Lots of space both indoors and out.”

“We had a very relaxing time. Caught many fish and hung out at the fire pit. Spent some time in the hot tub. The tree house was Clean and neat. Would not recommend it for anyone who has trouble with steps. You have to come down a ladder/steps backwards from the loft. We’re over 65 and a bathroom trip at 4 am was trouble and comical at the same time. Love the property and the host Bruce was great. Steps or not we would stay there again.”

“The cabin was ideal for us mountain bikers! The garage had ample power outlets to charge our e-bikes, and the location was peaceful. Highly recommend!”

“The Drooly Bear Cabin met our needs for a quiet, restful getaway. There's a welcoming charm to the place that makes it feel familiar and inviting from the first moment. The cabin is well appointed with comfortable beds, furnishings, and a well-equipped kitchen. The kids loved the swings outside, and while we were there, we saw deer, owls, and turkeys. ”

“We have an annual get together of old friends. This location has for our needs perfectly for three years now, and we hope to come back.The home is very clean, everything was as expected. The large deck, back yard, and fire pit area beside the stream are very nice.Owners are quick to respond to questions and communicated very well.”

“The cabin was great. Cozy, but spacious. Clean, easy going, friendly host. We had a very fun time playing billiards, taking a quick hike. And easy commute to Penn State. The view of the creek, with the sun shining through made for an ideal stay in nature. ”

“Beautiful property. Ony challenges were that the address was not provided in the check in email so had to reach out for that. And the listing indicated it had a pull-out bed which we needed for the second guest and the bed is not functional, so the second person had to sleep on the couch which was not great. But otherwise, a fine experience”

“Had a wonderful stay. The rooms are really nice, kitchen is well stocked, and the basement game area was a blast. The outdoor fire pit was the highlight making for enjoyable long lasting memories. Highly recommend, I look forward to coming back again!”
