Could be the worst place I've ever stayed at.Once you enter the lobby, it smelt of smoke and it was supposed to be smoke free. The front desk person wasn't very friendly and when another customer inquired about more towels he said that laundry was closed already. The pictures of the rooms are very misleading. It smelt of mold as soon as you enter the room. The bathroom was dirty and had mold. The curtains also had mold on them. There was also some shady characters in the parking lot of the property making me feel uneasy.

I didn't like anything about this property, and Expedia should remove this property as an option. I appreciate that Expedia offers different price points for hotel accommodations, but there should be a bare minimum standard of cleanliness and safety that should be offered as well.Upon arrival I thought I was it was strange that the lobby and check-in process was done through a secure window and not within direct contact of the employee. I shrugged it off because I did check-in very late, and I'm all about safety. The gentleman that checked me in was very nice and helpful. Once I got to my room I just knew something wasn't right. There was trash outside of my room that was thrown around the trash bin and not in it. When I opened the door to my room there was an immediate odor that came from within and stayed the whole night.The curtain in the room did not close all the way leaving a huge gap that anyone passing by could look in. The curtain was filthy. The floor was damp and slippery either with cleaning supplies that had a horrible residue or dampness in the air. The refrigerator and microwave were not clean and enclosed in a furniture fixture that was rusted all around. The metal bedframe was exposed and rusted as well. The light socket by my bed came out of the sheetrock, and there were no nightstands in the room. The phone was sat on the floor. The bathroom was horrible. The bathtub was not clean and had paint in the tub where they tried to paint over the fiberglass.

The water was hot. The heating and air conditioning worked well. The staff were friendly and were often cleaning around the property. Parking was great, right at my door.

Property smells strong of smoke. My child got ill from it. No housekeeping. They told us to find a maid on the grounds and ask for towels. We drove around building and no one in sight. Ice machine was broken so had to go buy ice. No breakfast. One piece of bread and a couple butter packets. There is no blanket on the bed. No shower curtain liner. Coffee pot was mismatched maker and pot so it didn’t work correctly. No shampoo. Dresser knobs missing. Tv didn’t work. Curtains didn’t close properly. Very very old building. Phoned front desk several times and no answer. I have also been there a few times and door is locked so you can’t get in. We feel like this place is running a scam. We never received an email, invoice, text back. The one gentleman at the front was unable to communicate with us as he spoke a different language. The other one was very nice and seemed to be in complete agreement that we had an awful experience and should get a full refund as he helped us check out early. They kept making promises that they couldn't keep.

I don't usually leave bad reviews, but after working for 16 hours I just wanted to have a clean bed to sleep in , but I found the opposite ,extremely dirty room, smell of smoke, trash on the floor, dirty bathroom. I just wanted to sleep in a pleasant environment. Baymont in Wilmington never again. Pure nightmare !!!!

This place was horrible. The room we stayed in was unclean. there were blood stains on the walls, toilet, counter space, and the floors. The room smeeled like stale bleach and the floors were sticky. We heard banging on our door at 4am scaring all three of us and we noticed that a few hours before that our Do Not Disturb sign was missing. When our concerns were brought up to the staff they brushed it off and said the blood was just regular stains and the banging on our door didn't happen. If I could rate this place negative stars I would. Don't stay at this hotel.

Room was clean. The hot water on tub faucet continuously ran. Had to shut the bathroom door to shut out the noise. This caused the bathroom to become a sauna. The toilet had condensation on the tank which leaked on the floor creating a puddle. The fridge fan was loud when running. At 4:30am someone came by knocking on all the doors. Apparently he was drunk/stoned. He proceeded to do this twice.

The curtain didn't fully close so there was no privacy from the parking lot. There was a hole burned into the bedding. It was not a new hole. The room smelled like gallons of cleaning solution was used to cover the smell of several crime scenes. The mirror was dirty. The area looked unsafe. The manager argued against giving me a full refund, even though I checked out an hour after checking in. Never stayed the night.

I was going to check in the person at the desk stated they didn’t have a double room I told that individual I book a double room and I had to have a room with double beds and I needed to talk with a Mgr which didn’t happen individual stated oh I have one but come back if it’s not to your satisfaction well we went to check out room. Satisfaction NOT. Beds not made floor had not been swept or cleaned not satisfied at all went back to front desk and told the person at desk no I was not staying in a dump. They stated I would get all my money back. Will find out within a day or so Do not recommend

Signs everywhere that they are urgently hiring for housekeeping. No towels when we first got into the room. The room was booked for two people. When we went to the front desk for towels, they said they didn't have any yet. We asked again and they cane down with them. They only brought us two towels and two hand towels. I went back the nect morning for one more towel for the bathroom floor. They refused. Room was eirher not cleaned when we got there or was rushed. Other people's trash in the trash can. I wiped down the counter by the sink and my clorox wipe came up brown. Not a good experience.

This place is a dump. I checked in and went to the room. It reeked like cigarettes and booze, my feet stuck to the floor, the toilet had urine and pubes on it, the tub was moldy. I turned around and went back to the desk to ask for my money back. They didn't want to refund until I told them I would just call my CC company and do a charge back. They finally agreed to refund. Avoid at all cost!

They did not have any linen, the breakfast was only toast and cereal. Staff was very unfriendly. Drug infested area and high police presence majority of the stay.

I arrived at the hotel at eleven at night. The guy at the front desk was polite and helpful—thank you to him. But the room was very dirty and not ready at all. It felt like the towels and sheets were not even washed. The room also had a bad smell. I had to change rooms, but it didn’t help much. This hotel is very dirty and smells bad. I give it two out of five.

This hotel is really nasty, dead bugs and roaches everywhere, floor was visibly stained and sticky, there was literal garbage piled up under the furniture. The sheets and towels were stained and clearly had not been washed in a long time.
