We were looking for someplace inexpensive to stay for a night, and you get what you pay for. Front desk/check-in was great; lobby appeared clean and clerk was friendly, so no complaints there. But inside the rooms the walls must be made of papier-mâché. We could hear everything from the room next door, including their TV and their conversations, late into the night. Traffic outside was loud, being at a major intersection, but the walls and floors literally vibrated whenever something larger than a sedan drove by. Bring earbuds or a decent white noise machine if you want to sleep through the night. When the AC was running it helped, but it appeared to be on an eco setting that couldn’t be disabled because it turned off frequently.
The room itself was clean, but very run down. Toilet made extended strange noises every time it was flushed and there were thick layers of caulk around the bathtub where it looked like it had been reapplied to address problems rather than replaced.
Continental breakfast was average. Packaged pastries apparently right out of the fridge because they were cold and hard, and coffee was drinkable.
We stayed here because we’re selling our house and showings were spread out over the course of two days and getting booked at the last minute, making it difficult to figure out when we could be home and when we had to leave. It was fine for a night but I wouldn’t stay here any longer than that.
