“We had a group of 9 and 3 dogs. We tend to get together Super Bowl weekend. My Son Lives in Rochester NY and asked if we could find a place equidistant from there and Massachusetts. I found this home on VBRO. It fit the bill everyone had their space with 6 bedrooms all but one king beds.The living room was a little small for a house that size but the bar solved that problem most sat at the kitchen. It is probably the best rental I have had. It is close to skiing and Lake Placid was a blast.……

“We stayed with our dog for a few days. The place is simple and neat. The neighborhood was quiet. We went skiing one day at Whiteface which is about a 25 minute drive because you have to drive so far into the residential development. The place doesn't have a lot of extras - like a big screen tv or bluetooth speaker but that wasn't an issue for us. The place was clean but not luxury. But, the price reflects that appropriately. We would stay here again. ”

“It was perfect for our family of 16. We had a wonderful time. It needs a few improvements. Mattresses were too soft, comforters need cleaning, oven takes too long to preheat, hot tub not filled sufficiently and no hose to add water, faucets drip. The location could not be better. The house was completely decorated beautifully for the holiday. We would definitely like to return. ”

“We had a great time staying at Cadence Lodge. It is very close to Whiteface Mountain for skiing. It was a super cute room, and it was convenient to have a refrigerator and a coffee machine. They also have a shared kitchen with an oven, microwave, cooktop etc. We ate at the restaurant on a Sunday evening, and the food was excellent alongside the drinks and service.
