Great bookstore on the same corner and 56 Donuts a quick drive down the road. Gray starting point for the Flint Hills tour.”

“We were so lucky to have found this unique stay less than a couple hours away where we could have lots of adventures in and around the Flint Hills. “The Crawford place is amazing! It is located above the sweetest boutique in a historic downtown building. The place is immaculate! Beds were comfy. It was the perfect place for a group of friends to get away from city life and refill.We frequented The Hays House, a historic restaurant formerly owned by Daniel Boone’s relative (& where I had the absolute best mashed potatoes!), the bookstore (where I had a lively interaction with the owner), and another little shop that served coffee, lunch, and……

“This cabin is our happy place. This is our second visit and we enjoyed the updates including the footbridge, paths, and lookout stand. The hosts have thoughtfully provided all the amenities we needed for a stress-free getaway. We enjoyed using the firepit, grill, and even the DVD player. I already miss drinking my morning coffee on the wraparound porch. We can't wait to schedule our next visit! ”
