“Our group of friends had the best time at this cozy, character-filled home. A well-appointed kitchen and large dining table made for great meals, and the living room had lots of comfortable seating, perfect for curling up with a book with the a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. “A friend & I decided to participate in a crank-in for circular sock knitting machines. We booked this place. Her husband decided to join us. We never had to leave Racine. Lots of great restaurants and coffee shops. My friends took their bikes and enjoyed riding along the beach (which is so close to the house). We would definitely stay here again. ”

“Our family of 8 stayed over the weekend at this property. The house is bigger than it looks. There is many different spaces in this home. Not everything is perfect but that is the charm of this old farm house. If you plan to use the yard make sure that it is taken care of before you stay at the property. There are several great places to go less than 20 mins away. We enjoyed the say and this a great place for a large group.”

“The Loft was very nice, clean, very quiet and relaxing. Perfect place to unwind after a long day at work. Stress free check in and out. This was my second stay in as many weeks, wish I could have stayed long term… But there days booked between dates when I needed to stay. I recommend Jody’s loft to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing place to stay. She is a great host & will always take care of your needs while you stay.”

“Nice home for families. Park across the street for kids to play plus the beach. Only downfall is possi le ecoli and issues if you want swim in the lake. You have to read to signs along the beach for safety. ”

“We hosted our daughter’s wedding at The beautiful Dekoven Center. We stayed at this 1850s home on brick road in a lovely Racine neighborhood a few blocks from our wedding venue. It hosted my husband and me, our daughters and her bridal party. Charming home w lots of character. Loved the blue tooth in the shower. Hosts were wonderful! 10 stars!!!!”

“This was a nice place to stay. It was close to where our tour was the next night. Communication with the owner was excellent. Easy to get into the home. The only concern was when we entered the home. We had brought food and drinks along to eat/drink and the refrigerator was over half full. It was hard to get our food in the refrigerator when it already had food in it. But we did make it work and we were very thankful that we were allowed to get in early.”

“My family stayed here for a sort of spring break/reunion. The place is a great idea - lots of fun games to keep us entertained. I would strongly suggest bringing a hair dryer, portable speakers, and slippers, as the garage/game area is more of an outside area. We wished we'd brought more rags for the dog's paws, because the yard was under water (we were looking forward to the trail through the yard, but it had rained a lot and the whole yard was a pond). “They have amazing old art collection waiting for you to explore, the room service is incredibly nice. The parking is excellent they'll have your car ready within 5 minutes.
