“At first I thought “ what did I get myself into” because the hotel is old . But then quickly realized that it’s old but high quality hotel . Awesome staff members such as Sarah , Glen and maintenance guy Joseph . The property and its surroundings are AMAZING ! And a pleasure to explore the wilderness / suburbs settings along with the creativity of the town of Simsbury . Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby immediately. They have a park/ frog pond in back of 1820 Hotel along with walking……

“Sunny Peace Homestay is more like an Airbnb than a hotel. It is a beautiful, private home on a quiet property. Our room was comfortable and even though we shared a bathroom with another guest, we never saw him. lovely host and we enjoyed our 2 nights there.”
