Erg verouderde locatie die toe is aan een renovatie. De bedden zijn klein en aan vervanging toe. Helaas sliep de slaapbank beter. Verder vonden wij nog pinda's van de vorige gasten in de kamer. Groot voordeel is dat het midden in het centrum ligt tegenover Windsor Castle.

Lovely position, great for walking and shopping. Lots of places to eat. Staff friendly although never answer the phone or email. The room was clean however, the windows were broken and we were a bit afraid they might fall out because the wood was so rotten. Shower was dreadful, very dated room which really needs a complete overhaul.

The refurbishment is lovely, but you cannot open the window further than a couple of inches so with the heat wave and only one fan it was dreadfully hot. Two fans may have helped but we were told there weren’t any extras. Otherwise, the staff was lovely and the lift access, and we even ate a couple of times in the old pub. Good location to the quay and the city center.

We booked a castle-view room which was unreal. Walkability is 10/10. Room was spacious but not private if you like natural light as there is no sheer curtain on the window. Bed was firm and a bit cosy for two adults. Seamless check-in and check-out.

The location cant be beat.... perfect for windsor castle, for the train, restaurants and shops The hotel has seen better days but for the price and the location a little dated furniture was acceptable. Staff was great helpful and very accomodating.. i had to change rooms and when i came back my bags.were in my new room... Would go back any time

Location location location! It can't be beat! Room with a castle view was amazing The hotel may have seen better days, but the location cant be better, the staff friendly and helpful.

Super hôtel avec un bon rapport qualité-prix, c'est vieillot mais cela reste correct dans l'ensemble. Bémol : pas de clim et il fait très chaud en été. J'ai ouvert la fenêtre mais on entend donc c'est un choix à faire car le petit ventilateur qui est dans la chambre fait du bruit aussi.

We only stayed one night and the location across from Windsor Castle was fantastic. The whole hotel seems dated and in parts tardy and needs serious investment to bring it up to a four or five star establishment. Disappointed with the hotel but not the location.

The hotel is in a great location in a very typically old british style but it needs a refurb. The room I had (superior) backed onto the bin area behind and at 5am there was a lot of activity with smashing glass etc.

The property does not list that it does not have air conditioning. If you complain they give you a fan and tell you to open a window onto a busy street. We couldn’t stay the 3 nights because of the heat and only asked for a refund for the last night and the property refused. This is a scam I would not stay there again.

Awesome view of the castle! Staff was very accommodating. However, the first 2 nights the air conditioning was not working and it was very warm in the room. Windows didn’t stay open.
