“The restaurant, bar, and hospitality were immaculate. I’d stay there again but probably in one of the regular rooms and not the cottage. The room was a little tired and the room wasn’t well insulated so it was cold even with the heater on. ”

“I had a room with shared bathroom. Room was nice and quiet. There are 2 shared bathrooms- one for ladies and one for gents. The ladies had 3 toilets and 2 XXL shower cubicles to shower and dress. Very clean, tidy and well stocked. Downside was my room was at the end of the hall so a bit of a walk at night. Lovely old charm hotel. We enjoyed a Murder Mystery night. The food was ok, would have been better warm. Breakfast was also cold - warming up the plates would help on cold days.”

“The villa was beautiful and it was in a quiet area. The beds were comfy and had electric blankets - thank god because it was absolutely freezing. The only negative was that our microwave broke down on the first night and was never replaced. It made cooking pretty difficult.”

“Large spacious clean room with comfortable pillows and bed. Smart tv was great ! Aircon struggled to keep the room warm but it was a very cold day and night when we stayed. Lucky there were extra blankets that kept us warm. ”

“Very enjoyable stay”

“Unfortunately, despite the decent ratings i'm giving them overall, there was a wedding on the night we stayed. This of course is a wondaful thing and we wish the happy couple the best. However we went to Briars to have a quiet night in the country, and if they had told us that our room would be directly above the wedding, in a very old, non-sound proofed room, then obviously we wouldn't have booked it. The noise was so loud that we could not even hear the TV. Better communication and honesty……

“Our favourite Southern Highlands destination...in the little sleepy village of Bundanoon - close to Bowral and many dining options...with its own highly regarded restaurant. Beautifully styled and comfortable accommodation - our only problem was the difficulty in tuning in to live TV...too complicated ...cannot do with a press of a button...”

“ It was clean and convenient, with self-service, and check-in and check-out were very convenient. The only thing that needs to be improved is that the air conditioner is aging, and it takes half an hour to preheat. There is also a few minutes of noise in the shower pipe.”

“The cabin was clean, and spacious enough for 3 adults. The air conditioner and the hot water worked well, and the water pressure was good. The appliances were all very clean too. The location was great, easily accessible and close to the shops.”
