“The stay was superb. The place is incredibly quiet with where it's positioned at the rear of the property. Extremely clean, very comfortable king sized bed, all the kitchen amenities we needed and felt extremely welcomed upon our arrival. It made for a lovely weekend getaway with so many local walks, places too see and multiple shops and pubs close by. Also having full access to the grounds and garden was a gorgeous addition also. 10/10, Couldn't improve on it, Will definitely be staying again. ”

“The Cannons is a spacious apartment pretty much in the heart of Southwold which is beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished and ideal for the perfect stay. Only downside is having to tear yourself away when it’s time to leave! ”

“A wonderfully quirky cottage, but with everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen; some of the comfiest beds I've slept in; big sofas for lounging on and a landlord who's quick to reply to questions. Ideal for a family - bedrooms are adjoining. Thoroughly recommended. ”

“We stayed at Lord Darby cottage at Barn Owl Glade over the Easter weekend 2025 ... and it was fantastic!So much to do for the kids - hot tub, heated swimming pool, games room including a pool table and Nintendo, swings, table tennis, feeding sheep.The cottage was well equipped featuring two single beds in one bedroom and one double in the other. Each bedroom had an en-suite and individual temperature controlled radiators.The lounge area was fine for 4 with a good sized TV, table and chairs and……

“We stayed with 16 friends for our Stag/ Hen weekend. House was fabulous - size, decor and comfort of rooms were great. Only put 4 stars for accuracy of online listing as we were expecting a BBQ and hot tub but couldn't find them.Very close to corner shops, pubs, restaurants and a park.Host Jonathan was very informative of all the helpful info we needed to know about the house and communicative with our questions pre stay.Would 10/10 recommend! ”
